High and Dry

Once, a glorified boat anchor, laying in the swirling, muddy waters of the Mighty Mississippi among the catfish, carp and abandoned tires, it now sits high and dry in the Hermitage torn down to its bare essence.

  1. Man, the little mind game I now subconsciously and automatically play on my way to the Hermit of Fink Shallow's Cave of Mystery and Mirth is to not read any of the daily words of wisdom and revelation before I actually arrive here . . . WTF?? . . . I feel like the great river serpent that has four eyes trying to cover them all with only fin . . . if you get the cut of my jib, and I'm sure you do my sage-like friend . . . still rushing from the studio session, I'll go now, sorry . . . dang, that funny tobacco . . .

    2. I tracked down an old one but not sure what kind of shape it's in. If it's too trashed we may have to talk. I'm within driving distance of Wes country.

  5. And a nice refuge it is. Nice high ceiling...jealous I am, in my noggin-knocker shed.
