Paradise?

This is the potholed, soggy road I live on, flanked by miles of miserable, muddy farm fields.  With 34°f temps, no sunshine for weeks  and dreary overcast skies, how can one possibly be anything but cheerful?

I hate winter.

  1. That's balmy compared to the D right now! It could always be worse my friend - you could live in California!

    1. I'm feeling you Diesel. But something about bone-chilling rain seems more annoying than snow and ice.
      But, it all sucks.

Supposed to be around 25° tomorrow morning. I'm determined to ride to breakfast, winter be damned!

  2. Look at it this way, at least people like you are keeping the four-wheel drive industry and distilleries afloat...

  3. No point in being a bloody recluse and living in the centre of town mate, gotta keep em separated.

    1. More hogs and cattle in my neighborhood than people WLP, they make good neighbors (except when the wind's wrong).

  4. The summer is more depressing for me. The unrelenting heat simmering my brain in the crockpot of my skull. Those nights when the temp doesn't go down and your AC shampoos rather than conditions. Now Fall, there's a season I can get behind. Beautiful colors, crisp air and the beginnings and ends of various sporting seasons.

  5. And totally skip Boing, er Spring? No, you need the sneezenal transition phase to make you really appreciate the energy suck of Summer.
